Glem, sold in Australia as Glem Gas, is an Italian maker whose range is built around gas cooking. Most of what is installed here is freestanding rather than built-in.
Freestanding means one appliance
This is the practical fact. A freestanding Glem is not an oven with a separate cooktop above it, it is one machine: shared fascia, shared controls, and a single structure.
Three things follow.
It is priced as a stove rather than as an oven, because the hob, the cavity and any grill compartment are all part of the same job.
Cleaner sprayed into the cavity runs out over the door edge and down onto the fascia, which carries the controls for everything. Spray onto the cloth rather than into the oven.
And there is little sense in cleaning the cavity while leaving the hob, because the two share a front panel and the appliance either looks done or it does not.
The cavity

Age and parts
Most Glem stoves in Sydney are a decade or more old. The brand is still trading, so parts are not the difficulty they are with an orphaned name, but a model from the mid 2000s will not carry current part numbers and the rating plate becomes essential.
The grill compartment
Most freestanding Glem stoves carry a separate grill compartment, usually a shallow drawer-style cavity below the main oven or above it.
On this brand it is skipped more consistently than on almost any other, and the reason is structural rather than careless: it does not look like an oven. It reads as a warming drawer or a storage tray, so people who would never leave a main cavity uncleaned genuinely do not register that there is a second one.
It has its own tray, its own runners and frequently its own element shield, all of which come out. Treat it as a small oven, give the cleaner the same thirty minutes it gets upstairs, and expect it to want a second application, because whatever burned in there has been baked by every subsequent use of the appliance around it.
