What the two cost
An oven and a BBQ, in one visit
Here is the plain sum, before anybody tries to sell you anything. A standard oven up to 600mm is $210. A three-burner BBQ is $275. Booked together in one visit, that is from $485, GST-inclusive, with no call-out fee. These are indicative: your operator confirms the final price, which can vary with how heavily soiled the appliances are.

We are not going to pretend there is a discount on that pair, because there is not one. An oven and a BBQ are two genuinely separate jobs that happen to be at the same address, one indoors and one out, and neither makes the other quicker. What does make a difference is the appliances between them.
* Prices are indicative only and may vary with the size and condition of the appliance, how heavily soiled it is, and your location. Your operator will confirm the final price.
The better buy
Two more appliances for $100
The cooktop and the rangehood are cheap to add to a job that is already happening, and expensive to buy on their own later. A cooktop booked beside an oven is $75 instead of $115, and a rangehood is the same. Put the two of them alongside the oven and BBQ you already wanted and the whole thing becomes the Full Valet at $585, which is $100 more than the pair.
Inside that package the BBQ also comes down, from $275 to $225, which is most of where the step-up pays for itself. Against booking all four appliances one at a time the package saves $130, and it saves three mornings of waiting in for somebody.
The Full Valet is also booked differently. It takes the operator's whole day rather than a half-day slot, so yours is the only job they are at and nothing after you is waiting on them to finish. If you only want the two you came for we will do those properly at the price above, but the arithmetic is worth seeing here rather than in a phone call afterwards.
Two different jobs
Why an oven and a BBQ are not the same clean
An oven is a sealed box, a BBQ is not
An oven traps everything it produces, so the grease bakes on in thin layers and hardens into carbon that will not wipe. A BBQ has weather, drips and open air, so its problem is bulk: soft fat pooled in the base, rust under the plates, and burner ports blocked by the debris that falls into them. The two need genuinely different work, which is why booking them together saves you a visit and not a shortcut.
One is indoors and one is not
We do the oven, cooktop and hood inside with protection down and everything removable soaking in a heated bath. The BBQ is done outside, last, because it is the messiest of the jobs and nothing from it should come back through a kitchen we have just finished. It is also the reason an outdoor tap makes the visit quicker.
The BBQ is the one people leave longest
Most BBQs we open have never been stripped. Grills and plates can be scrubbed by anybody, so they usually have been; the base, the burners and the inside of the hood almost never have. That is where the smoke taste comes from, and it is the part of the job that actually needs the equipment.
- Oven racks, trays, side guides and inner door glass removed and soaked
- Oven cavity, roof, base, element and fan housing hand-cleaned
- BBQ grills, plates, burners and flame tamers stripped out
- BBQ base emptied and degreased, hood cleaned inside and out
- Everything reassembled, tested and usable the same day
- Non-caustic, eco-conscious products throughout

While we are there
The Full Valet, from $585
You are already booking the two biggest jobs we do. The two smallest cost very little on top of them. Adding the cooktop to an oven clean is $75 instead of $115, and the rangehood is the same. Take all four appliances together and the package is from $585 against $715 booked one at a time, so you keep $130 and three of the four mornings. It is booked as your operator's whole day, so yours is the only job they take.
