Soak the stainless baffle filters flat in hot water with a non-caustic degreaser, brushing along the channels rather than across them. Clean the canopy along its brushed grain with nothing abrasive, and dry it to avoid water spotting.
Asko hoods follow the same design language as the rest of the range: brushed stainless, industrial proportions, and on the Pro Series a canopy that dominates the wall it hangs on.
The canopy is the most visible surface in the room
A wide brushed stainless canopy at eye level shows more than any other surface in a kitchen. Swirl marks from cleaning across the grain are visible from the doorway, and on a canopy this size they cannot be polished out selectively without redoing the whole panel.
Warm soapy water, a soft cloth, along the grain, then dried. Nothing abrasive at any point, and no cream cleanser, which will dull brushed stainless even though it is entirely correct on a glass cooktop a metre below it.
Filters, and one habit worth carrying up from the hob
Asko's wider canopies carry stainless baffles rather than aluminium mesh, and our rangehood cleaning guide covers soaking them and brushing them correctly.
The Asko-specific warning is about products rather than method. Cream cooktop cleaner is exactly right on the glass hob below and exactly wrong on the brushed stainless above it, because it is a mild abrasive. Carrying a cloth or a bottle up from the cooktop to the canopy is one of the more common ways a premium hood gets dulled, and it is done by people being thorough rather than careless.
Two cloths, two products, and a deliberate pause between the two appliances.
Behind the filters
The impeller housing is where the smell and the noise come from, and our rangehood cleaning guide covers reaching it and the power isolation the job requires.

Should you do it yourself?
Do it yourself for the filters and the canopy, along the grain.
